Campus Hours
Alcott High School for the Humanities open daily at 7 a.m. and closes promptly at 5 p.m. Students are reminded to schedule transporation to coincide with those hours.  Due to unpredictable winter weather, students are always welcome during the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Diavaso=Quiet Study Time
AHSH has announced a new study opportunity for its students: Diavaso.  Students are encouraged to study in a quiet space  after school Monday thru Thursday from 3:15 to 4 p.m. in room 106.  Bring your homework and enjoy a quiet place to get it done.  Questions? Contact Ms. Morand at 773.534.5972.

AHSH Spreads Holiday Cheer
Several AHSH students adopted four Schneider Elementary classrooms and their respective students for a Polar Express project.  AHSH read from the popular seasonal book, distributed jingle bells and donated the book to the classroom libraries.

Debaters Score Another Win
Freshmen Elizabeth Best and Christine Vi did it again: they took home medals at the CPS Junior Varsity Debate Tournament on Saturday, December 5 at Michelle Clarke High School.  This comes on the heels of a major victory on November 12 when they won it all.   The team beat 42 other teams from area schools.  Go to News to read more.
