Official CPS Calendar for the 2010-2011 School Year  (Look at the top of each day's events for regular track school schedules)
Note: AHSH follows the "Regular CPS Calendar."  Don't get confused by various calendars.  As well, we have a few different days of non-student attendance.  Take note of the following:

7:  Welcome to the first day of school!  School begins at 8:15 a.m. Parents are welcome to join us at 8:15
    a.m. for the beginning of the new school year.
10: Yearbook Photo Day, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
15:  Alcott LSC Meeting, 8:00 a.m. @ Alcott Elementary (2625 N. Orchard)
24: Staff Development Day; no student attendance
25: Alcott Harvest Fest, 2-6 p.m. @ Alcott Elementary (2625 N. Orchard)

October 2010
1: EXPLORE (Grade 9) and PLAN (Grade 10) Testing: Modified Schedule
8: Field Museum Guest Speaker, 10 a.m. in the gymnasium
11: Columbus Day; school closed
20: Local School Council (LSC) Meeting at Alcott Elementary @ 8:00 a.m.
