The Humanities Lectures
The Humanities Lectures is a series of conversations that will take place over the course of the 2009-2010 school year.  The purpose: exploration of the humanities from various perspectives.  Students will hear from and interact with authors, elected officials, artists, actors, scientists, professors, linguists, storytellers and so many others who will further the discussion of the humanities.

The Humanities Lectures will pertain specifically to AHSH students and will take place mainly during the regular school day, but certain events will be extended to evening hours to allow parents and members of the community to attend.  Both elements are being developed to enhance academic achievement and understanding at AHSH.

A comprehensive list of dates, speakers and locations is being finalized at this time and will be published in the near future.
